Pastor Wilson Mugabe completed a 7 day DRY fast.

Pastor Mugabe 42, of the Baptist Union of Zimbabwe participated in this campaign together with human rights activists Kumi Naidoo , Nomboniso Gasa  and others to highlight the plight faced by millions of Zimbabweans daily.

I wanted to share together with the people of Zimbabwe the pain they are going through by fasting and afflicting my body. To identify with them in hunger and thirst as they spend days mostly without food and water as Zimbabwe National Water Authority fails to supply water to all towns and cities.

I am pained with the number of deaths that are occurring in Zimbabwe because of Chlolera and lack of medicines to cure the epidemic. I wanted to highlight a warning sign to all International and Regional Communities that Zimbabweans are in dying, health, food and education is in crisis. It is also my very simple contribution as well to seeking regional and International Solidarity and move voices to arise for the liberation of the people of Zimbabwe from the current suffering. Praying for God’s intervention in the talks that are currently taking place with main political parties in Zimbabwe and with the help of SADC country leaders. For God to grant them the wisdom, and courage that is needed.
